The 3rd annual Harness the Hope Night was a huge success!

Grand River Raceway (GRR) was excited to host their third annual breast cancer fundraiser, Harness the Hope Night this past Friday, August 30!

Harness the Hope is a non-profit organization that organizes events and initiatives to benefit causes that enable breast cancer research, awareness and support services for cancer warriors and survivors. They provide direct support to young women faced with a cancer diagnosis and provide much-needed awareness, research, earlier detection, and improved treatments for those directly affected by or who may face breast cancer in their lifetime. Their events can be found at various harness racetracks in Ontario and even across Canada throughout each year. Learn more about them here: https://harnessthehope.com/

GRR “painted the track pink”, (figuratively speaking), with guests, drivers, and grooms dressing in pink, a Giant PINK Patio Party on The GrandWay Patio, food trucks (Endless Inspirations and Mega Cone Creamery), photo opportunities, a visit from Grandy, and so much more!

The night raised over $25,000 with Grand River Agricultural Society matching all funds raised from sponsors, guests, and friends up to $12,500.

Race #5 was the Harness the Hope race sponsored by Skyline Group of Companies, where all those who are living with cancer, cancer warriors, and those supporting others with cancer into the Winner’s Circle to be a part of the winner photo.
