Making The Grand Great AGAIN!
ELORA, ON (December 13, 2021) – The team at Grand River Agricultural Society (GRAS) and Grand River Raceway are excited to announce that they have been certified as a Great Place to Work® yet again.
GRAS and GRR were first awarded in 2019 as a Great Place to Work®, and then later recognized on the 2020 list of Best Workplaces™ in Retail and Hospitality, the organization is thrilled that they continue to receive very positive feedback from their team. Employing 75 staff members, including all those working with GRAS, The Grand River Raceway, and their newest addition The Grand Way Events Centre, all three have been highly regarded as a fun and exciting place to work.
“COVID continues to make the entertainment industry challenging,” shares Rena Edmondson, HR Manager at GRAS, “We are continuously looking for ways to get our team involved and be together in creative ways. Going through this certification process allows us to ask our employees for direct feedback on their workplace experience. Our employees are at the heart of our organization and their work satisfaction is important to us!”
The Great Place to Work® certification is awarded after a thorough and independent analysis conducted by Great Place to Work® Institute Canada. This certification is based on direct feedback from employees, provided as part of an extensive and anonymous survey about the workplace experience.
