Grand River Raceway is committed to supporting the growth and prosperity of its communities by responsibly giving back and making a positive difference through its involvement in important local initiatives, including:

  • Pizza Perfect Educational Program – Annual agricultural education initiative serving 700-1,000 Grade 3 students from four local school boards through 20 interactive farm-to-table learning stations
  • International Women’s Day Celebration – Host special lunch event with inspiring speakers, supporting Centre Wellington Food Bank through ticket proceeds and attendee donations
  • Harness the Hope Breast Cancer Fundraiser – Annual pink-themed racing event raising over $25,000 annually, with $75,000+ raised over three years through guest contributions and GRAS matching donations
  • Community Mini Grant Program – Provide $15,000+ annually in $1,000 grants supporting local agricultural and environmental initiatives for 15+ community organizations
  • Scholarship Program – Award $42,000 annually in $3,000 scholarships to 14 students pursuing agricultural or environmental studies at college and university levels
  • Advancing Women in Agriculture Conference – Sponsor local students to attend professional development and networking conferences in the agricultural sector
  • Philanthropic Funding Initiative – Distribute $1 million annually through major donations, grants, scholarships, and gifts-in-kind to support community organizations
  • SPARK Symposium – Host annual ag-tech showcase featuring innovative companies, trade shows, and $5,000 pitch competition supporting agricultural entrepreneurship
  • Rapid Response Business Development – Provide up to $10,000 per project supporting early-stage ag-tech and green-tech companies with market expansion opportunities
  • Fundraising Event Venue Support – Provide discounted facility rental rates for non-profit organizations, helping raise over $330,000 for community causes through events
