Temporary closure at Grand River Raceway

ELORA, ON — Grand River Raceway’s gaming and dining operations will be closed until further notice.

The OLG announced this afternoon a temporary shutdown of all casinos across Ontario. Elements Casino Grand River will close as of midnight tonight.

All dining and simulcast racing operations will also be temporarily suspended. (There is currently no live racing at the site. The live racing season begins June 3.)

This action is consistent with the recommendations of the province’s Chief Medical Officer of Health related to new precautionary measures for COVID-19.

Grand River Raceway will provide updates on when operations will re-open as they become available. Updates will be available on the Grand River Raceway website and social media channels.
