New Format For Winter Wednesdays Contest

Winter Wednesdays tournament starts February 26

ELORA, ON — Ten weekly rounds of the reformatted Winter Wednesdays Handicapping Tournament kick off on February 26 at Grand River Raceway and its OTB site, The Bettor Club, in Kitchener, ON.

The popular tournament offers cash prizes totaling $5,250. It’s free to play and runs every Wednesday through April 30.

Contestants in each weekly leg must select the winners of races two through seven at the simulcast track of their choice.

A hypothetical $2 win and $2 place wager is applied to each selection and the top five finishers share $200 in weekly prizes. There’s also a $25 random cash draw each contest night at 9:00 p.m.

Bankrolls accumulate each week and the top five players with the highest bankroll at the end of Week 10 (April 30) share in the $3,000 Grand Prize.
