Industry Day

Our Industry Day Celebration is the hallmark event of the race season. Held annually on Civic Holiday Monday (the first Monday in August) there is a special afternoon race card highlighted by two major races, The Battle of Waterloo presented by Winbak Farm and the Battle of the Belles.

• The Neighbourhood Kids Area set up with face painting, glitter tattoos, inflatable axe throwing, patio games, live on-location radio and music…annnnd more!
• Food trucks on-site at the East Gate
• VIP tickets to watch the races in the Captain’s Quarters in our indoor tiered seating. See details HERE.

The Battle of the Belles is Grand River Raceway’s companion race to its signature dash, (the Battle Of Waterloo), and is showcased during Industry Day. The Battle Of The Belles is contested by Ontario-sired two-year-old pacing fillies.
