Strut your mutt at Grand River Raceway

ELORA, ON — So what if your pooch isn’t exactly ‘Westminster Kennel Club’ material? Bring them to Grand River Raceway’s Mutt Show where all are welcome.

On July 6, Grand River Raceway kicks off its first Mutt Show. This afternoon event is open to dogs of all shapes and sizes.

There are a variety of classes to choose from and opportunity for the whole family to get involved.

Some classes include:

  • “Leave it!!” (Bring your favourite toy & last man standing wins)
  • Tough MUTTer (Fastest time through agility course)
  • Best Catch (Whether it’s a ball or Frisbee show us your most creative catch)
  • Costume Class (dress-up your pooch)

Classes will be judged by Kelly Waterhouse, News Director for The Grand 92.9 FM.

Other fun activities include portraits of each participant, ribbons for the Top 5 in each class and the crowning of Mr. & Mrs. Mutt.

Registration is $25 per dog and classes are $5 each.
