Musical Murder Mystery Dinner Theatre at Grand River Raceway is an award-winning comedy dinner show. Written and performed for Grand River Raceway by Tim Clarke Productions, these hilarious and interactive shows change with each run and offer fresh side-splitting storylines and a cast of crazy characters. Our shows are all-original — written just for us!

Enjoy a delicious, homemade 3-course meal in the newly renovated Lighthouse Restaurant at Grand River Raceway. Fab songs and hilarity abounds in this unique whodunit night-out with your family and friends.

Doors open at 6:00 for cocktails; guests usually arrive between 6:00 and 6:25 pm. the three-course homemade dinner and live Murder Mystery begins at 6:30.

Murder Mystery Dinner Theatre shows take place in the Lighthouse Restaurant, which is in the building beside the main building (just a few steps west).

The production is loosely scripted. The bulk of the show is shaped by the actors’ improvisation and interaction with the audience.

All ages are welcome; while the scripted portions are ‘PG’, we cannot guarantee the show will remain so once the audience participation begins, so please consider these factors when determining whether the show is suitable for children.

Throughout the meal, entertainers engage the audience as they act out a play, during there is a murder. The audience is invited to determine the perpetrator of the crime, voting by secret ballot near the end of the night. One of the correct respondents is randomly drawn to win a prize.

The evening concludes with the unveiling of the villain and announcement of the random draw winner.

The show begins at 6:30 pm and the evening wraps up around 8:30 pm. The actual performance is three acts totalling 50 minutes.

Seating is assigned, so there is no need to arrive before the doors open at 6:00 p.m. Guests are seated at tables of 8. If you are purchasing tickets separate from the rest of your party, please advise us at (519) 846-5455 ext. 288 before the date of the show so we can seat you together.
